Dutchman Hunters Adventure
The Lost Dutchman Monument and the Superstitions

It took me two years of initial research for Hunting Old Snowbeard’s Gold back in 1999, driving from the Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott to the Arizona Historical Society in Tucson. In between were several visits to the Phoenix Barton Barr Public Library, Arizona Capitol Museum, Pinal County Historical Society and Museum,  the Goldfield Ghost Town MuseumSuperstition Mountain Historical Society and Museum and the Apache Junction Public Library and Chamber of Commerce. I also did some footwork at the Lost Dutchman State Park, the Lost Dutchman Monument and the 35th Annual Lost Dutchman Days. I gratefully interviewed John Wilburn and Ron Feldman. This weekend, instead of driving, take an online trip around Arizona by clicking any of the links above.

Enjoy the adventure and let me know what you find.
